Albert Oehlen (b. 1954, Krefeld, Germany) lives and works in Switzerland. After studying at the Hochschule für Bildende Kunst in Hamburg, Germany (1981), he rose to prominence in Germany amongst other Junge Wilde artists. He has since exhibited throughout the United States and Europe at the Palazzo Grassi, The New Museum, Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Kunsthalle and MOCA Miami amongst others.
